Charlamagne Blasts Clothing Brand Founder For Selling ‘Most Wanted CEO’ Playing Cards: ‘Y’all Losing Your Minds’
Charlamagne tha God called out the founder of a “socialist” clothing brand for making “Most Wanted CEO” playing cards in the wake of the CEO shooting.
On Monday’s episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne gave his “Donkey of the Day” honor to Comrade Workwear founder James Harr. Thanks to one of his own ideas, the company recently began taking pre-orders for the cards that feature photos and names of some of the most prominent CEOs on the planet — including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and the Walton family.
Harr said he got the idea from the U.S. Military created a similar set of cards for figures in Saddam Hussein’s regime.
“It’s the holiday season, guys. Come on, man,” Charlamagne said. “I simply don’t approve of vigilante justice; but I’m gonna tell you something: James Harr, it’s all fun in games until you’re the target, until all these CEOs see that guy James Harr’s putting our lives in danger. Now you’re target of some of the most powerful people in the country.
“So you have made these CEOs most wanted on a card game. They can make you most wanted in real life — and deservingly so. You earned it.”
While Charlamagne agreed with the criticism that CEOs are “greedy” and put “profit over people,” he strongly disagreed with the idea that openly calling for their deaths would do anything.
“Y’all losing your minds, man,” he said. “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, guys.”
