Crenshaw Heckled About Trump, Epstein Files At Bonkers Town Hall

Trump ally Rep. Dan Crenshaw faced utter chaos at a town hall where he was heckled constantly about President Donald Trump and deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, and other issues.

It now been almost two months since the Trump Justice Department dropped the bombless bomb heard ’round the world when they claimed there actually was no client list, and no “Epstein Files” worth releasing.

At every stage, Trump has fanned the flames even as he attempts to tamp the story down, and critics have accused him of using his police takeover and other issues as a distraction.

The story also prompted heightened scrutiny of Trump’s past relationship with Epstein, and a flood of unearthed recordings and quotes that critics have circulated to try to paint the president as a longtime sex creep.

While media interest in the story dropped off as the summer wore on, polls indicate that public interest is high. A whopping 71 percent of Americans say President Trump knew about Epstein’s sex crimes against underage girls — including a large majority of Trump’s voters — before investigations into the billionaire began.

That interest was also evident at Crenshaw’s town hall in Kingwood, Texas Thursday. In video posted by independent journalist Jim Acosta, hecklers can be heard chanting “Release the Epstein Files!” as Crenshaw speaks.

And in a livestream from KPFT host Egberto Willies, the heckling is near-constant, with members of the crowd drowning out Crenshaw on the Epstein issue, Trump’s ICE raids, and his police takeover.

Members of the crowd shouted things like “Answer our questions!” and “We don’t want to hear your propaganda!” and jeered a guest speaker right off the stage area.

According to a local GOP official, Crenshaw and others tried to avoid attracting media attention and protesters:

When U.S. Reps. Morgan Luttrell and Dan Crenshaw had both held town halls over their summer break, they communicated the details to voters directly through email, texts and social media, said Cindy Siegel, chair of the Harris County Republican Party.
“Quite frankly, you try to limit the media coverage and target the voters,” she said. “The concern has been paid protesters Democrats have sent out to disrupt the town halls.”
