Fox Host Asks Trump OMB Chief If He’s Looking Forward To ‘One Of These Great Pounding Trump Showers’
Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow dropped an all-timer of a greeting when he asked Trump Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought if he’s looking forward to a “great pounding Trump shower.”
Trump — who is infamous for his bonkers rants about water pressure — announced that he’s going to have EPA Secretary Lee Zeldin roll back environmental regulations that Trump rolled back when he was in office the first time but President Joe Biden reinstated. They include a rule that would allow showers to go from the 2.5 gallons per minute they’re currently allowed to put out to as much as 15 gallons per minute.
On Tuesday’s edition of Fox Business Network’s Kudlow, the host opened his show with a (perhaps satirical?) ode to Trump’s decision, gushing for several minutes about how Trump is “going to make showers great again!” and usher in a “golden era.”
“For the first time in four years I could take a real shower with the water pounding down on me, not some puny Biden drizzle!” Kudlow said.
He then introduced Vought, who said he is also looking forward to a good Trump pounding:
LARRY KUDLOW: All right. Now, joining me for his first TV interview since rejoining the administration, being confirmed by the Senate, my very good friend OMB Director Russell Vought.
Russ, welcome to the show. I hope you look forward to one of these great pounding Trump showers again.
RUSS VOUGHT, OMB DIRECTOR: I do, Larry. Thanks for having me on. I think one of my most enduring memories from the first term is the care and the passion for which the president has for changing these policies to get back to common sense. So, we were excited to see the news this morning as well.
KUDLOW: Yes. Yes, indeed.
