Fox News Host Shows Off ‘Some Of The Toys’ From Trump’s Tank-Rolling Military Birthday Parade

Fox News host Charlie Hurt showed off “some of the toys” that will be rolling during President Donald Trump’s upcoming military parade.

Trump is very much looking forward to the military parade scheduled on Saturday to ostensibly celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army — which also coincides with Trump’s 79th birthday.

That parade is supposed to go on even if it rains, according to a U.S. Army spokesman, but lightning is a different story — the Army says it could be “canceled or postponed” if heavy thunderstorms develop.

On this week’s edition of Fox & Friends Saturday, Hurt got a guided tour through the controversial hardware that will be rolling through the streets (weather permitting) from Col. Kamil Sztalkoper:

CHARLIE HURT: The historic Drummond 5 Corps, a couple of Pfeifers there in their magnificent colonial uniforms which reminds me of my grandmother making her grandchildren dress up in colonial garb. We are here now with Colonel Kamil Sztalkoper, is that correct?

COL. KAMIL SZTALKOPER: That’s correct.

CHARLIE HURT: And he’s gonna show us some of the toys that you own that are on loan here for this parade. And I think you wanted to start back here.

COL. KAMIL SZTALKOPER: Way back over there is the M1126 striker infantry carrier, eight wheel vehicle. There’s like a driver, a commander and eight infantry dismounts. The cool thing about that striker is it comes from the U.S. Army’s 3rd Cavalier Regiment. The last time that unit was here in D.C. Was 1949 for President Truman’s inauguration parade down Pennsylvania Avenue. And they’re back. And it’s awesome. The soldiers are excited to be driving down Pennsylvania avenue here later this afternoon. So we can’t really wait. So that is one. Of the four vehicles that we brought from Fort Cavazos, Texas, 1,924 miles via train. We left on the second, we came in early on Saturday.

CHARLIE HURT: All eight, so that’s eight wheel drive, eight wheel. Okay, so show us what we’ve got here. I think you said that these three right here are the same. Yeah, so these.

COL. KAMIL SZTALKOPER: These three right here, these are the M2A4 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 25mm Bushmaster Cannon, 7.62 machine gun, it’s got a tow, two launcher, two tows against tanks, crew of three, six dismounts. This is an extremely lethal platform. So dismount is a soldier. Dismount is soldier, an infantry soldier. You can also have engineers in the back. They can blow up obstacles.
