‘It’s About The Kingdom Of God!’ Trump Evangelical Rally Speaker Boasts ‘We Are Bigger Than Black Hispanic And Union Vote’
Rally speaker Pastor Paula White boasted that religious Trump supporters “are bigger than the Black, Hispanic, and Union vote” combined, and claimed the election is “about the Kingdom of God!”
At a press event and a pair of rallies in North Carolina Monday, Trump continued to spout false attacks and outright lies about the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other Biden administration responses to the devastating Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.
But he also felt the love of evangelicals, as one business leader prayed over him at that press conference, and religious leaders gathered to praise his name at a Believers and Ballots Trump event later in the day.
Pastor White — who was Trump’s “spiritual adviser” while he was in the White House — was among the opening acts for the event, and spoke to the “mighty army” of “God” assembled to support him:
PASTOR PAULA WHITE: Hello. I believe I’m here with some world changers right now, and I believe that God is raising up a mighty army! If you’re part of that army, you should shout. Yes! If there’s a company of Esthers. Come on, Davids Daniels. That I believe that there are some. Nehemiahs being raised up here for such a time as this. And this is your finest hour.
I’m so honored to be here as having worked with President Trump for 24 years now. I got a phone call. He was watching me on Christian television and she called up and said, “You’re fantastic.”.
And he repeated three of my sermons almost verbatim.
He said, “You have the it factor.”.
I said, “Sir, we call that the anointing.”.
That was our hello. From there. I’ve got to tell you, for 24 years I’ve worked with a great man of integrity as his pastor, as a person and a friend to the family and so many other things. And he has tremendous integrity, wisdom.
…
And because of all of you and so many of us that work together, because how many of you know we are the body of Christ? And it needs we all have to be together working in unity. There’s no big I and little view. This isn’t about fame. This isn’t about money. This isn’t about position. This is about the kingdom of God! This is about prayer! This is about standing up and helping each other.
Because together united. Do you know that when conservative Catholics and socially conservative Catholics who are faithful to the church and evangelicals come together, we are 38% of the electorate? That is bigger than the Hispanic black and union vote all together.
(APPLAUSE).
Turn to somebody, say, we can do this.
So here’s what I want to say to you in conclusion. I watched him go into the White House and he was the greatest, greatest champion of faith.
