One-third of all Americans are fully vaccinated, according to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
As of this posting, the CDC is reporting 33.4 percent of the United States (110 million people) is fully vaccinated, and 45.3 percent of Americans have at least one dose.
Over 70 percent of all seniors are vaccinated, with 83.3 percent having at least one dose.
It is expected by next week the FDA will authorize the Pfizer vaccine for 12-to-15-year-olds.
As the vaccine rollout continues, the CDC recently released new relaxed guidelines on mask-wearing. Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Thursday current models project a “sharp decline in cases by July,” but also warned about variants.
