Lauren Boebert Pushes Baseless Claim 81-Year-Old Biden is Old and Frail Because of Vaccines

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) pushed the baseless claim that President Joe Biden has suffered”rapid physical and cognitive decline” because of vaccines.

The claim follows Boebert’s pattern of vehement opposition to the Biden administration’s handling of the Covid pandemic.

On Thursday, Boebert took to X to post images of the 81-year-old president receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and cryptically asked: “I wonder what could have caused Joe Biden’s rapid physical and cognitive decline?”

Boebert, a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump whose inflammatory comments have drawn criticism from colleagues within the GOP, previously blasted Biden’s COVID-19 vaccination strategy as coercive and “unconstitutional” – reminiscent of “Communist China.” In one provocative tweet during the pandemic, Boebert called federal vaccination teams “needle Nazis.”

The Colorado congresswoman underwent surgery to remove a blood clot in her leg in April and, subsequently, appeared on One America News Network (OANN) to deny it was related to a COVID-19 vaccine.
