Mark Halperin Predicts Trump Is Going to ARREST Putin on US Soil at High-Stakes Summit

Mark Halperin predicted — somewhat mischievously, but seemingly seriously — that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin would be arrested by American authorities in Alaska during his high-stakes summit with President Donald Trump.

“I’m looking for this and I want to ask you this question,” began Halperin on his 2WAY show with Sean Spicer and Dan Turrentine on Friday morning. “Serious question. What’s the percent chance that the United States arrests Putin today? That’s what I’m looking for. Dan, what’s the percentage chance they arrest him as a war criminal?”

“Zero,” replied Turrentine before Spicer concurred with his answer.

“Okay. When it happens, we’ll post this moment,” said Halperin before attempting to move on.

“Wait, do you disagree? Do you disagree?” asked an incredulous Spicer.

“Oh no, I think they’re gonna arrest him, I think they’re gonna arrest him. I think that’s the whole thing is to trick him to coming to the U.S., they’re gonna arrest him,” insisted Halperin. “He’s a war criminal. So let’s see. My point is we may do a special report. Just, you know, we’ll see this weekend. That’s one thing to look for is if we decide to do a special report because, you know, they’ve arrested Putin.”

“That would be news,” mused a stunned Turrentine.

Halperin has put together an impressive track record in the opening months of the second Trump administration by being the first to report that Trump intended to move Mike Waltz out of his post as national security adviser in May, and then revealing that a blockbuster story about the relationship between Trump and Jeffrey Epstein was about to drop on 2WAY last month.
