Outnumbered Hosts Mock Pathetic ‘Old Hippies’ with ‘Nonsensical’ Signs at No Kings Protests

The hosts of Fox News’ Outnumbered used Monday’s show to mock the millions of No Kings protesters from Saturday, calling them pathetic “old hippies.”

Fox News criminal justice analyst Paul Mauro claimed “the average age” of protesters he saw “was the average age of New York City’s July temperature, all right? It was just a Woodstock reunion, all right?”

Mauro’s assertion drew giggles from the co-hosts.

“Triple digits!” exclaimed Emily Compagno.

Mauro continued, “And they were uniformly white, almost entirely. I mean, are there some? Of course not, it’s not all — but it struck me that it was all old, white hippies. It brought home to me the importance of Charlie Kirk. Because the only way the Democrats are going to replace a vanishing demographic, which is what I just discussed, is the young people that Charlie Kirk got to, and who now we understand are not going to be uniformly left, which is what the received wisdom had been in the past because the left owned the teachers union and all of that.”

Mauro added, “And while it was peaceful, and while it was colorful, and they were chanting and all this other stuff, and the vibe was very sort of ‘hippie peaceful,’ there were radical groups there everywhere.”

Compagno said she was “struck by the same demographic,” in Washington, D.C.

“How elderly they were, how ineffective and nonsensical the signs were. How self-congratulatory all of them were,” she said.

Former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway quipped, “You’d think this group would be so happy about no tax on social security. But apparently they take their online venom and brought it right out into the streets.”

Conway added, “I think that they are at once pathetic and menacing. I do think there is a dangerous element to them,” adding, “they are a bunch of whiners while [Trump] is a winner…as pathetic as they are, they love attention and I do worry there will be copycat killers out there.”

Harris Faulkner claimed, “the left seems comfortable with where they are in their messaging, whether they are carrying the flags of assassination culture or not.”
