‘Pathetic Question!’ Seb Gorka Blasts Reporter Outside Courthouse Who Points Out Trump Is Part of the Ruling Class
Sebastian Gorka stopped a press conference briefly outside Donald Trump’s hush money trial in Manhattan to tell a reporter it was “pathetic” to suggest the former president is part of the “ruling class” or “elite.”
Gorka was part of a large entourage of supporters to follow Trump to his trial on Tuesday where his defense team rested their case. Trump has seen a number of lawmakers and allies show up in Manhattan at his trial to show support as he faces more than 30 felony counts for falsifying business records to conceal an affair with adult film actress Stormy Daniels. He’s denied any wrongdoing.
On Tuesday, everyone from Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick to former Saturday Night Live performer Joe Piscopo showed up to support Trump.
At a press conference outside the courthouse, many of the allies gathered to rail against the charges the former president is facing. Patrick at one point accused the “ruling class” of targeting Trump for political purposes, and the lieutenant governor snapped back after a reporter said Trump was part of the ruling class.
“Donald Trump is not the ruling class. Donald Trump is for every New Yorker, he’s for every Texan, every state. Donald Trump has put his whole life on the life, his whole life, for the American people,” Patrick said.
He added, “He’s standing up for you even if you don’t know it.”
Patrick then tried handing things over to the next speaker, but Gorka, a former official in Trump’s administration, snapped at the reporter for suggesting Trump was part of the “elite.”
“Would a member of the ruling class be facing 730 years in prison? What a pathetic question! 730 years in prison and he’s a member of the elite!?” Gorka said. “That’s pathetic. You’re not a journalist!”
