Pennsylvania State Police have identified three victims, one attendee who was killed and two who were injured and are now in stable condition, following the shooting at former President Donald Trump’s rally on Saturday.

Corey Comperatore, 50, of Sarver, Pa., was fatally shot as he “tried to shield family” from bullets, according to Governor Josh Shapiro.

Two other men were injured in the attack. David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, Pa., was wounded but is currently in stable condition. Similarly, James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, Pa., also sustained injuries and is recovering in stable condition.

Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher Paris told reporters Sunday: “These victims and their families are certainly in our thoughts today. The Pennsylvania State Police continue to work tirelessly alongside our federal, state, and local partners as this investigation continues.”
