Trump and Hannity Laugh About Meltdown During ‘Nasty’ ABC News Interview
President Donald Trump and Fox News host Sean Hannity laughed together about something Trump said as he melted down at ABC News anchor Terry Moran during a recent interview.
During an interview pegged to his first 100 days, Trump lost it on Moran over his mistaken belief that wrongly-deported migrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s knuckle tattoos literally spelled out the name of the gang MS-13.
The second part of Hannity’s exclusive interview with Trump aboard Air Force One aired on Wednesday night’s edition of Fox News Channel’s Hannity, during which the host told Trump he loved the part of that fracas when he professed never to have heard of Moran.
Both men seemed to feel it was a winning moment:
HANNITY: Last question.
We have our first American pope. He does seem to disagree with you on immigration. Putting that aside, would you like to talk to him about that?
TRUMP: Sure. I mean, I would. It’s — he was — he was really a surprise choice.
And I noticed on CNN yesterday the — Dana Bash was saying, well, this had nothing to do with Donald Trump. And nobody asked a question. The worst was on Steph — I call him George Slopodopoulos, the George Slopodopoulos show on ABC. ABC is really bad.
HANNITY: I call him little Georgie. So we both have our own little nickname for him.
TRUMP: I know, but he’s a bad guy. But he’s a bad guy. Well, he had to pay him $16 million. So that’s good.
HANNITY: My favorite was the interview with the guy. You didn’t pick David Muir or Stephanopoulos.
“I don’t even know who you are.”
(LAUGHTER)
TRUMP: I had no idea.
HANNITY: I don’t know if the media knows how to deal with all the access they finally have, which they haven’t had in a long time.
TRUMP: I had no idea who he was, but he got a little nasty. So I explained that I just don’t know who you are. Who are you?
They — they actually gave me a choice of anybody at ABC. And I picked this guy Moran because I never heard of him. So, I said, let’s use him because the others…

HANNITY: … reason to pick him.
