Trump Claims Bizarre White House Window Video Is ‘AI-Generated’ — Even After Spox Confirms It as Authentic

President Donald Trump claimed on Tuesday that a video of items being tossed out of a window at the White House was fake, even after viewing the footage for himself.

At a White House press conference, Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked about the footage, which went viral earlier in the day with social media users throwing out numerous theories for what could have been happening. The Daily Wire’s Mary Margaret Olohan took to X to say that a White House official told her the culprit was “a contractor doing regular maintenance while the President was gone.” The explanation followed Trump raging against subcontractors doing work at the White House.

“That’s probably AI-generated,” Trump told Doocy about the video.

He claimed that the windows in question could not be opened.

“They’re all heavily armored and bulletproof… in fact, my wife was complaining about it the other day. She said love to have a little fresh air come in, but you can’t. They’re bulletproof. Number one they’re sealed, and number two eat window weighs about 600 pounds. You have to be pretty strong to open them up.”

Doocy eventually walked up to the podium and showed Trump the video after he requested to see it, and the president still insisted it was fake.

“Those windows are sealed. You can’t open them,” he said.

He then ranted about the troubles with AI, joking he’d blame the technology for anything bad and that he himself had seen a video that he later learned was not real.

“One of the problems we have with AI, it’s good and bad, if something happens really bad, just blame AI. But also they create things. It works both ways,” he said. “If something that happens that’s really bad maybe I’ll have to blame AI.”
