Undercover Israeli Special Forces Disguised as Doctors and Patients Raid West Bank Hospital — IDF Says Hamas Commander Killed

Jenin

Undercover Israeli special forces carried out a raid on a West Bank hospital early Tuesday morning dressed as doctors and patients. The Israeli military said their commandos killed three Hamas-linked terrorists who were allegedly planning an October 7th-style attack and among those killed was a Hamas commander named Mohammad Jalamneh.

CCTV captured stunning images of the undercover forces wearing fake beards, dressed as Muslim women, and even appearing to be wheelchair-bound.

“The top Palestinian health official in Jenin, Wisam Sbeihat, said that Israeli forces had entered Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in the northern West Bank city of Jenin dressed in civilian clothes and carrying weapons. They then went to the room where the Hamas commander, Mohammad Jalamneh, 27, was staying with two friends, and shot all three dead, Mr. Sbeihat said,” reported the New York Times on Tuesday.

The IDF confirmed the raid, although it did not disclose the details of how the Hamas-linked men were killed, and noted the operation was jointly carried out by the military, the Shin Bet security agency, and a counter-terrorism unit.

The Times of Israel added that Palestinian media reported that the raid took some ten minutes and was first to air the CCTV footage taken from inside what appears to be the hospital’s lobby.

“One of the officers carries a wheelchair, while another has a baby carrier,” noted the Times of Israel, adding:

The Israeli forces reportedly entered the medical center at 5:30 a.m. dressed as doctors, nurses, and Palestinian women, headed to a room on the third floor, and shot the surprised trio dead in their beds before escaping the building unscathed. The commandos reportedly used guns with silencers in the raid.

The IDF statement noted that Jalamneh, the alleged terror cell leader, had been previously injured while preparing a car bomb attack.
