The family of Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre is urging President Donald Trump not to pardon the notorious pedophile’s longtime partner, saying she’s a “monster” who “deserves to rot in prison.”
“Ghislaine Maxwell is a monster who deserves to rot in prison for the rest of her life,” family members Sky and Amanda Roberts and Danny and Lanette Wilson said in a statement to the BBC.
The family asked that Trump “never consider giving Ghislaine Maxwell any leniency,” adding that she “must remain in prison – anything less would go down in history as being one of the highest travesties of justice.”
The family statement came days after Trump bizarrely claimed that Giuffre was “stolen” from him by Epstein.
“I think she worked at the spa,” Trump said on Air Force One on Tuesday. “I think so. I think that was one of the people, yeah. He stole her. And, by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”
In response to Trump’s comments, Giuffre’s family said: “It was shocking to hear President Trump invoke our sister and say that he was aware that Virginia had been ‘stolen’ from Mar-a-Lago. It makes us ask if he was aware of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s criminal actions.”
Trump has maintained that he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago in 2004, because he was a “creep.”
Giuffre died by suicide in April.
