WATCH: Horrifying Video Shows Devastating Flooding of Texas River in Just Minutes

A stunning time-lapse video from Texas shows the devastating swelling of a river before a girls’ summer campground in the state was slammed by intense floodwaters, leaving 27 campers and counselors dead.

The clip, shot by Robert Ivey on Friday, shows the Llano River in Kingsland rising multiple feet in about 20 minutes, according to MSNBC.

About 75 miles away, in Kerrville, Camp Mystic was the scene of a rain-soaked tragedy, as the waters of the Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in just over 40 minutes overnight Saturday, taking out the cabins located along the riverbanks.

“This was a thing that happened in seconds,” President Donald Trump told reporters on Sunday. “Nobody expected it. Nobody saw it. Very talented people there, and they didn’t see it.”
