It would be a startling sight for many, but on the Lebanese party scene missile barrages have become commonplace.

Videos out of Lebanon, captured at various parties and weddings, have shown Iran’s offensive against Israel in the distance as celebrations go on.

In one, Lebanese saxophonist Alain Otayek is seen playing his own soundtrack at a rooftop party as the missiles rain down, with revelers taking video on their cellphones.

“The world breaks, borders burn, and battles roar. But a melody rises,” Otayek said in an Instagram comment for the video. “I play for no side but the human spirit. Because music, music always stays. World Peace&Love”

In another clip from a Lebanese wedding, Sgt. Slick’s remix of the Abba classic “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” provides a bizarre backdrop to Iran’s offensive.

In a scene from another wedding, guests can be seen jumping and raising their hands in celebration as the projectiles are seen streaking across the sky.

The conflict between Israel and Iran entered the fourth day on Monday, with Israel declaring “full air supremacy” despite some Iranian surface-to-surface missiles getting through missile defense systems and striking buildings in Tel Aviv.
