‘We Suck!’ House Democrat Absolutely Obliterates Congress on Fox News Sunday — Says Both Parties Act ‘Like High School’

A House Democrat delivered a blunt assessment of Congress after being confronted about its abysmal approval ratings.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) sounded off on both parties after being confronted by anchor Shannon Bream about Congress having an abysmal 26 percent approval rating — according to the latest Fox News poll.

“We suck!” Moskowitz said. “That’s what it is. The data is clear. And it’s been clear. Look at what happened in the 118th Congress. We removed a Speaker — that had never happened in American history. Then they almost removed a second Speaker. Democrats had to step in to table that. Every time Democrats remove a Republican from a committee, the Republicans remove two Democrats. It’s like high school. It’s tit-for-tat. And we’re breaking the place every single day! And both parties are doing that.”

Moskowitz is reportedly being considered by President-elect Donald Trump to lead FEMA. (He did not close the door on the possibility, when asked about it by Bream on Sunday.) In the same spirit, he went on to argue that bipartisanship is the only fix for what ails Congress.

“All these problems we have are not gonna be solved by one party,” he said. “I have bad news for my Republican colleagues. We’re gonna have to do this ourselves. So we dug this hole together, we’re going to have to get out of it together.”
