‘You People Are the Devil!’ D.C. Driver Goes on Anti-Semitic Tirade Against Mother Biking With Her Child

A road rage video went viral on Wednesday showing a driver going on a shockingly anti-Semitic tirade against a woman riding her bike with a child.
The clip was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by the @DCTrikeMom account. Apparently taken in Washington D.C., the film shows a man having a dispute with the woman filming and asking him to stay out of the bike lane.
“I don’t care what you’re asking! I don’t got to comply with you,” the man told the biker. When the biker retorted it wasn’t safe for her to bike around him, he told her “I don’t give a f*ck about your safety. Your life is none of my concern.”
That’s when things took a turn for the anti-Semitic:
DRIVER: You a Jew?
BIKER: I am in fact.
DRIVER: (Laughter) I knew it! I knew you was a Jew! (Laughter) You people are the devil. Now we go. I knew it! You are the devil!
After posting the video online, the @DCTrikeMom account deliberated with other X users about whether she should report the incident to the police or the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). She said she’s currently withholding the picture she took of the man’s license plate, and she rejected calls to doxx the man.
Public concerns about anti-Semitism have seen a major resurgence after Hamas’ attack on Israel and subsequent war. The ADL reported that 312 anti-Semitic incidents have occurred in America since the October 7 attack, and rates of harassment, vandalism and assault towards Jews are at a 388 percent increase from this time last year.
