Comedian Tim Dillon Loses It Over Trump’s DC Crackdown: ‘This Is Everything Alex Jones Always Talked About’

Comedian Tim Dillon trashed President Donald Trump’s recent attempts to curb crime in Washington, D.C., calling the president’s takeover of the city’s police force and deployment of the National Guard a “fascist kind of wet dream.”

Speaking on The Tim Dillon Show on Saturday, the conservative-leaning host broached the topic of Trump’s crackdown in the capital, stating plainly, “I don’t love this takeover of this militarized police. I don’t love it.”

Dillon went on to acknowledge that crime is a problem in many cities and “somebody’s gotta deal with that.”

“But it’s the gotta be the cops, right? We don’t need National Guard,” he said.

Later on in show, Dillon continued voicing his opposition to the military addressing crime, claiming it would harm tourism in the U.S.

“You gotta beef up the police force. You don’t want military. No one’s gonna wanna visit this country. Tourism’s already dropping Vegas hotel rooms are down like 33%. Nobody wants to be in a city where there’s military everywhere. It’s like after 9/11, it wasn’t great when there was just people– like National Guard walking around for years after 9/11,” said Dillon. “It gives you this eerie feeling. I don’t think anybody wants to really visit a city where there’s just going to be like National Guard everywhere…listen, you need cops, but gotta just have cops– can’t put the military everywhere in the city. It’s like this country really does have a fascist kind wet dream where they like the idea of the military so much.”

Dillon then mentioned conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, a former guest on Dillon’s show who the host said warned of this kind of militarization in the past.

“They’ve already got the National Guard on the street. They already have all your information DC and now they just get to decide what is and isn’t over the line. That should scare everybody,” said Dillon. “You’re fucking nuts, dude. If this doesn’t scare you, you’re nuts.”

He continued:

All of these things that Alex Jones, you know, and I’ve had Alex on, I like Alex, but all these things that Alex Jones was worried about when I listened to him in the late nineties, early two thousands are coming to fruition. And he does, you know, I don’t know where he is on all of that stuff, but I know he’s a big fan of Trump, but this is everything Alex Jones always talked about. Military in the street, the FEMA camp, the the tech company that monitors everything, the surveillance, this is all of that. I mean, not to sound like a fucking nut, this is everything of crackhead– and I don’t even mean a crack head like crack, but a guy smoking weed in a room with a fucking black light and a fucking, you know, insane clown posse tattoo on his arm. I’m thinking of a very specific guy I was friends with– but this is everything that that guy would’ve talked about. He’d be like, “bro, bro, there’s gonna be military in the street. They’re gonna put you in jail for fucking your fucking thoughts, man. If you just say them, bro, you’re gonna be in fucking jail. There’s gonna be a fucking company that monitors everything you do, bro.” Like this is literally the wet dream of every conspiracy theorist that has ever lived. And it’s happening now.

“And the people you’d think would be upset about it are kind of cheerleading it. They think it’s great. So isn’t that fun?” he quipped.

Dillon, who interviewed Vice President JD Vance last year, was often seen as one of the Trump administration’s many supportive voices in the alternative media space. But the comedian has grown more critical in recent months.

He spoke with Jones in July about the fallout from the administration’s handling of the Jeffery Epstein scandal, agreeing with Jones that Attorney General Pam Bondi – who Dillon said should be fired – is covering up evidence. He also told Jones that he “had dinner last week with the vice president” and that Vance told him that Bondi’s claim that the government possessed incriminating videos of powerful people was false.
