Hunter Biden Parrots Melania Trump-Epstein Conspiracy Theory as He Claims President Implicated In Files

Hunter Biden pushed a conspiracy theory about Melania Trump and Jeffrey Epstein while claiming President Donald Trump is implicated in documents related to Epstein’s case.
Biden sat for a follow-up interview with Andrew Callaghan for his Channel 5 show following a fiery first round where the former president’s son put a number of Democrats on blast. In the latest chat, Biden showed off his paintings and discussed backlash against the administration over Epstein.
“Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile that came into enormous wealth by very mysterious circumstances and had connections across the globe to very, very powerful people and he was murdered right before it was all about to blow up and so and now there supposedly are no files that the American people can see to explain all of that,” he said.
Epstein was a convicted child predator who died of an apparent suicide in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges. A Department of Justice/FBI memo concluding Epstein committed suicide and denying the existence of files implicating high-profile associates in crimes has set off calls for the release of more documents related to the case. Epstein was at one point friends with the president, and he rubbed shoulders with a number of other powerful people, including former President Bill Clinton.
Biden agreed with Trump on the point that he does not believe there is an actual client “list” that Epstein kept. Trump himself has called the existence of such a list a “hoax.”
“Do I think that there’s an actual list? No. I don’t think there’s an actual list. I don’t think he was that stupid,” Biden said. “But do I think that what they do have implicates [Trump]? Yeah, I think so.”
Part of Biden’s thinking about Trump comes down to a story that has been disputed by Melania Trump herself: that Epstein introduced the president to his current wife.
“I mean, Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The connections are like so wide and deep,” Biden said.
The Daily Beast recently deleted a post centered on controversial author Michael Wolff, claiming Epstein introduced Trump to his wife. The story was killed after the outlet heard from Melania Trump’s lawyer. An editor’s note with an apology was published in its place.
“After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article. After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding,” the company stated.
Melania Trump also released an excerpt from her book where she described meeting Trump at New York City’s Kit Kat Club.
