James Carville Urges Democrats to ‘Go After’ JD Vance: ‘Kick the Sh*t Out of Him!’
James Carville urged Democrats to “go after” Vice President JD Vance, pointing him out as the administration’s weak link following an overseas vacation.
On his Politics War Room podcast, Carville told Democrats to “kick the s**t” of Vance “every chance” they get, while blasting the vice president for choosing to vacation in England instead of the United States. Carville and his co-host Al Hunt also blasted Vance for “hailing” President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. The title of the clip of Carville’s criticism of Vance told Democrats “it’s time to go after” the vice president.
“As we point out, the most unpopular piece of legislation in recent times, in this century, is the big bad bill. If they give you a gift, take the gift,” Carville said, urging Sen. Jon Ossoff (D) to debate Vance on Trump’s spending bill after Vance blasted the senator for not voting in favor of the bill and its extension of 2017 tax cuts.
Carville laid into Vance for his recent vacation to England. During his rant, Carville referenced Vance being turned away from a pub, likely referring to a report claiming staff at a pub refused to serve the vice president and his family. A source familiar with the situation said the restaurant in question was a lunch option, but Vance and his family ultimately decided not to go. Vance was hit with other protests while visiting the country.
Carville Democratic strategist blasted Vance for not vacationing within his own country, and told Democrats to focus their arguments on the vice president and “kick the s**t out of him every chance you get.”
He argued:
He’s entitled to a vacation. I’ll give him that. Guess where he went? To a place called Oxfordshire in England, which is a Tony wealthy place that rich Londoners go to. It’s called the Martha’s Vineyard of England. And why we didn’t blow this up? Okay, why didn’t the Tourist Association of the Florida panhandle blow this up? Las Vegas people, the California people, the Wyoming people. You mean you can’t vacation with your wife and kids in his own country? I’m getting ready to go to Lake George, could be the most beautiful place on earth. People in upstate New York would have been glad to have his money. But what does he do? He goes to a Tony English village. And, by the way, he wouldn’t even let him in the best pub because employees in the pub said they wouldn’t serve him. That is where — use JD Vance and just kick the s**t out of him every chance you get.
“Every Democrat, bring him into your district. You want JD Vance,” Hunt added.
“Yeah, JD-fucking-Vance,” Carville said. “Going to Oxfordshire.”
