Oops: University of Florida Accidentally Makes Accused Murderer Its ‘Mr. July’
Former NFL star and New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez is currently indicted on three counts of murder, multiple weapons charges, and faces life in prison.
But here’s a bright spot for him: he’s Mr. July in the University of Florida’s 2014 calendar, available now at Target (really)! Here he is below, in a photo capturing his glory days as a former tight end (heyooo!) for the Florida Gators, along with his stats.

What a sexy alleged murderer. Wait.
While this is actually an official calendar, the Florida Gators noted that the calendar containing Hernandez was approved back in Spring of 2013 — months before he was dramatically arrested in June 2013. (This did give them at least a year to change the calendar, but oh well.)
They added:
@NAWTADIGM @ourtwobits @uflorida and it's not from our marketing department, would be a licensed product not something we distributed

@cvas agreed it's not ideal situation.Thousands of these projects come through for approval months/years in advance.
