Howard Stern and Vice President Kamala Harris praised MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, with both saying they “love” the Morning Joe host.

Harris joined Stern’s SiriusXM radio show on Tuesday in a day full of media appearances that also included The View and late-night host Stephen Colbert. While discussing Harris’s morning workout routine, Stern asked about the vice president’s watching habits while she’s working out on the eliptical, which sometimes includes Morning Joe.

“I love that guy,” Stern said about Scarborough.

“I do too,” Harris said.

“A former Republican. He can’t vote in his own party,” Stern said.

“He loves our country. I don’t agree with him on every issue, but we agree on the most important at this moment, for sure,” Harris responded.

President Joe Biden is also reportedly a fan of Morning Joe, and he appeared on the show in July while he was still running his reelection campaign to address concerns about his age and stamina.

Harris called the current election a “strength vs. weakness” contest with former President Donald Trump. She blasted the former president over new reporting suggesting he sent Covid tests to Russian President Vladimir Putin during the pandemic, something Trump’s team has dismissed as false.

Stern told Harris he’s voting for her, but he’d also be willing to vote for a “wall” over Trump. The radio host asked Harris at one point if she planned on fleeing the country if she lost out of fear of the former president being back in the White House.

“You know what, all of those former officials from national security, the over 200 Republicans who worked with both Presidents Bush, Mitt Romney, John McCain who are endorsing me, the former Vice President Dick Cheney who is voting for me along with his daughter Liz Cheney,” she said. “We are building a coalition of people who are Republicans, independents, Democrats, Libertarians, all stripes of Americans who are coming together to say, you know what, this election is about putting country before party.”
