Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers took a subtle jab at former President Joe Biden while sharing a story with the media on Tuesday.

During his media availability at training camp, Rodgers — who’s entering his 21st season in the NFL — described how he often “gravitates” to his fellow seasoned veterans in the league when interacting with other teams. The problem, Rodgers continued, is that he’s been in the league so long that there aren’t many left. He then talked about his experience trying to find other vets at the Steelers’ pre-season game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.”

“I’m 21 years in the league,” Rodgers said, “so I’m over there [thinking], who do I know on Jacksonville? I know Heath Farwell, the special teams coach. I played against him. I know [running backs coach] Chad Morton. He was with us, and I’ve met [quarterback Trevor Lawrence] a few times. So I was kinda looking around going — you know, doing the Joe Biden like, ‘Well I guess I don’t know anybody here, so I’m gonna just walk off.’ I found [Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward] and [Steelers defensive lineman TJ Watt] and I was like, I’m gonna walk next to them.”

The comment was a reference to the questions surrounding the former president’s mental acuity. Those questions grew even louder with the release of Jake Tapper’s book Original Sin, which focused largely on the Biden administration’s alleged efforts to conceal the full extent of Biden’s cognitive decline.
