The Ryder Cup is a biennial competition that pits a squad of 12 American golfers against a dozen from Europe. It was originally supposed to be held last year, but was postponed due to Covid. The Europeans dominated the event last time around, but with the home course advantage, the U.S. is a strong favorite to turn the tables. A lively, patriotic crowd surely won’t hurt the cause.
