WATCH: Deion Sanders Throws Several of His Players Under the Bus in Tense Presser After Losing 4th Game Out of 5

Coach Deion Sanders is losing patience after his Colorado Buffaloes squad dropped its fourth game in its last five on Saturday night.

In a tense news conference after 28-16 loss to UCLA, Sanders threw his offensive line under the bus after allowing seven sacks in the contest. Responding to a reporter’s “big picture” question about how he plans to keep his quarterback healthy, Sanders was blunt.

“You go get new linemen,” Sanders said. “That’s the picture. I’m gonna paint it perfectly.”

Part of the coach’s frustration undoubtedly stems from the fact that his son, Shadeur Sanders, is the team’s quarterback.

“I’m a little biased because I’m his father, but I think we have the best quarterback in the country,” the coach said (via ESPN). “I don’t think any other quarterback could put up with having to stand and deliver like he has to every week in, week out, taking a beating.”

This is not the first time Sanders has warned players to get ready to pack their bags. In his very first speech as the team’s coach, Sanders flat out told the entire existing roster to transfer because he was bringing his own players in. All but a handful of the 51 players on the roster who were eligible to return ended up leaving the program.
