A grounds crew member let TV cameras know exactly what he was thinking after injuring himself during Wednesday’s game between the San Francisco Giants and Detroit Tigers.

The game was slightly delayed after a grounds crew member in Comerica Park injured themselves. The crew member flipped the bird to cameras after realizing they were on him while people tended to his leg. One of the men around the crew member reached out and lowered the middle finger as they noticed.

“You can’t do that,” play-by-play announcer Dave Flemming said after the gesture.

The grounds crew member was eventually carted off the field and after a delay, the Tigers walked away with a 4-3 victory.

“Hope it’s just a leg and something not too serious,” analyst Hunter Pence said.

“A Tigers series sweep wasn’t enough to soothe this guy’s pain,” Fleming said at one point.

Tigers first baseman Colt Keith told MLive’s Evan Woodberry the injury looked serious. The grounds crew member was around first base when he suffered the injury.

“It was pretty gross. I saw his kneecap on the side of his knee. He was screaming. I saw them pop it back in. I hope he’s all right,” Keith said.
