WATCH: Novak Djokovic Knocked Down After Getting Struck in Head By Bottle

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic appeared to be injured when a water bottle hit him in the head as he was signing autographs.
Novak is in Rome for the Italian Open. On Friday afternoon, Twitter user Martinho posted a video of Djokovic signing autographs as he was leaving the court. While he was in the middle of signing something, a metal bottle suddenly appeared from out of frame and hit Djokovic on the top of his head. He immediately put both hands on his head and dropped to the ground as fans collectively gasped around him.

Djokovic was accompanied by a security guard who bent down to check on the star. While Djovokic knelt motionless on the ground, another member of security came over to assist. Fans could be heard asking one another whose water bottle it was.
After being on the ground for about 30 seconds, Djokovic was helped up and hurried away.
It has not been revealed if the injury will impact Djokovic’s ability to continue playing in the tournament. He’s scheduled to face Alejandro Tabilo in the round of 32 on Sunday.
