Trump Smashes Kimmel, Pritzker, and ‘Major Losers’ Who Were ‘Cheering For a Murder’ at Charlie Kirk Memorial Service

President Donald Trump took some time, after starting his eulogy for Charlie Kirk on a somber note on Sunday evening, to verbally smash a few opponents, including suspended late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), and the “major losers” who have cheered or happily posted on social media about Kirk being murdered.

The president, during his speech honoring the conservative activist at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ., also said he disagreed with Kirk about wishing for the best for his opponents.

“I HATE my opponent and DON’T want the best for them,” Trump joked, before apologizing to Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk; Mrs. Kirk had just told the crowd she had forgiven the man who shot her husband before President Trump took the stage.

President Trump then ripped into those who have been overjoyed with Kirk’s killing.

“Over the last 11 days, we have heard stories of commentators, influencers, and others in our society who greeted his assassination with sick approval, excuses, or even, jubilation. You’ve heard that, so have I. Couldn’t believe it,” Trump said.

He continued: “Some of the very same people who spent the last eight years trying to sit in moral judgement of anyone who disagreed with them about politics, suddenly started cheering for a murder. Incredible. You know the names. they’re major losers.”

Trump said that “God-willing” the suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, will be given the “full and ultimate punishment” for him.

He then moved onto some other familiar topics, including his planned deployment of the National Guard to Chicago. The president said he will be thinking of Kirk, who grew up in the Chicago suburbs, when he goes in to cleanup crime in The Windy City; he also found a chance to take a dig at Gov. Pritzker, who has been complaining about Trump going into Chicago.

“We’re going to have Charlie very much in mind when we go into Chicago,” Trump said. “We’ll get that one straightened out. You have an incompetent governor — he thinks it’s ok when 11 people get murdered over the weekend.”

President Trump also drew some laughs from the crowd when he referred to Kimmel getting suspended by ABC this week. He said many left-leaning pundits were more upset about Kimmel’s suspension than Kirk’s murder.

“The same commentators who this week are screaming fascism over a canceled late night tv show — where the anchor had no talent and no ratings — last week were implying that Charlie Kirk deserved what happened to him,” Trump said.

He added: “Some of the very people who call you a hater for using the wrong pronoun were filled with glee at the killing of a father with two beautiful young children.”

Looking ahead, the president echoed what his aide Stephen Miller said earlier this week: that the Trump Administration would be looking at “networks of radical left maniacs” who “fund, organize, fuel, and perpetrate political violence.” Trump on Saturday said he sees the “same beautifully printed” signs at left-wing protests, which indicates, he believes, that the protestors are getting funded by the same left-wing organizations.
