10 Famous Liberals Who’ve Bashed MSNBC

As we noted yesterday, Alec Baldwin‘s New York magazine retirement from public life came with some lashing out at his former network MSNBC. Turns out, he’s not the only popular liberal to throw bombs at the progressive cable network: Plenty of ex-employees and other cable hosts have done so. And it’s happened quite frequently in the past year.

Interesting to note: While some of the below have had some truly tough words for MSNBC, most of them continue to get invited onto the network (much to the chagrin of Joy Reid).

A question arises: Why is it easy to spot prominent liberals bashing MSNBC, but not many famous conservatives bashing Fox News? Right-wing radio hosts often censure Bill O’Reilly or Beltway pundits like George Will, but never the network as a whole. Is it a fear of not being invited on? Or perhaps a residual bunker mentality from the time when no major news network conspicuously promoted conservative voices?

Those are questions, perhaps, for another piece. But in the meantime, here are ten well-known liberals who’ve had harsh words for MSNBC:
