2013 Emmy Nominees Announced, Netflix’s House of Cards First Online Series To Receive Top Nominations
The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy award nominations were announced Thursday morning in Los Angeles. Major series like Downton Abbey, Homeland, and Political Animal appeared frequently in the list, while Netflix’s House of Cards received several nominations, vaunting the online streaming and DVD service into trophy land for its first original series.*
