Apprentice Alum: Donald Trump Is ‘Creating the Next Dylann Roof’

Former Apprentice contestant Kwame Jackson said on CNN last night he thinks that Donald Trump is “creating the next Dylann Roof.”

Jackson told Don Lemon he’s fine with people expressing their opinions, but creating a “toxic environment” of racial dog-whistles is dangerous because it creates an ecosystem “that weak-minded people act on.”

He cited both the Charleston gunman and Timothy McVeigh as people who hear inflammatory language like that and then act on it.

And when Lemon asked him if he’s really serious about that, Jackson said of Trump, “He is creating the next Dylann Roof. He is crating the next Tim McVeigh.”
