Barbara Bush Wishes Her Son Wasn’t a Polite Little Angel
This was the wrong year for a mild-mannered guy to run for president. Jeb “Please Clap” Bush, in an effort to present himself as the calm, reasonable candidate, has succeeded only in burning vast sums to money, in order to trail far behind in a race that has largely rewarded confrontation and bombast.
Barbara Bush‘s advice to her son: Be rude.
“He’s almost too polite,” Mama Bush told CBS This Morning in an interview that aired Friday. “I don’t advise him, but if I gave him advice I would say why don’t you interrupt like other people do?”
“I’ve gotten better at interrupting, mom. C’mon,” Young Bush said, patiently waiting for his mother to finish her thought. Because of course he’s the only candidate who does joint interviews with his mom.
“He’s so polite. We brought him up that way, and he does not brag like some people we know,” Barbara Bush said, alluding to the very rude boys who are consistently stealing Bush’s lunch money in the polls.
We can’t wait to see how the Trump camp uses this in their next Instagram attack vid.
