Bill Clinton on Hillary’s Emails: ‘Never Seen So Much Expended on So Little’

In an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Bill Clinton said he was amazed by how much energy is being expended about his wife’s emails.

He first said that the Republican party wants her “mangled up” over the course of the election because they’re terrified to run against her.

The former president brought up past attacks on him and his wife and how the GOP is throwing out “catnip” again to distract voters from the big issues. As for the email scandal, Clinton said, “I have never seen so much expended on so little.”

He said there have been a “shocking number of really reputable press people” who have talked about the transfer of classified information in the government, but “they don’t show up on television very much.”
