Bill Maher Torches ‘Assh*les’ on The Left Attacking Him for Hosting Guests Like Charlie Kirk: ‘F*ck Off With This Bullsh*t!’

Comedian Bill Maher unloaded on “assh*les” on the left who attacked him for having hosted conservative guests like Charlie Kirk and his decision to meet President Donald Trump, bluntly telling them to “f*ck off with this bullsh*t.”

During the first episode of Club Random since the assassination of Kirk in Utah on Wednesday, Maher sat down with Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan, who hosts his own show under Maher’s podcast network, the comedian torched his critics.

Maher explained that almost of a quarter of the guests he had hosted over the years had said “something that is full on bonkers” which he didn’t agree with but argued that it was important to “talk to people.”

The comedian opened his tirade by explaining that he’d hosted Kirk in April.

I love to have people like Charlie Kirk sit there, as he did. Because I’m not going to agree with most of what he says. First of all, he was very Christy and all that. I’m an atheist. But it’s okay. He’s a human being and not a dummy. And unless people get it through their thick f*cking skulls, you’re going to have to talk to people.

Continuing he said those on the left needed to “get over” themselves and that unless someone has given the most “egregious” reason they shouldn’t be platformed – like being a proud Nazi or cannibal – he would engage in conversation with anyone:

Let me tell you something, though, we’ve had over 200 guests here sitting in that chair. I would guess at least a quarter of them say something that is full on bonkers, in my view. You know, like we didn’t land on the moon. Shit like that.

…If you start just dismissing people for anything other than just the most kind of egregious, you know, ‘I’m a Nazi and I’m proud of it’, although even Kanye has survived and I am not for canceling him either. He sat here once, we didn’t air it because I would have been canceled. Or, you know ‘I’m a cannibal’, not like an Armie Hammer cannibal who was not a cannibal and he sat here and I was happy to rehabilitate him, but an actual cannibal. You know, unless it’s something like so out there, you know, you just got to get over yourself and talk to these people.

He went on to slam those who’d criticized his decision to visit Trump at the White House, also in April, asking where the line should be drawn on who should be blacklisted as a guest:

And for all those assh*les who are like, you know, ‘I can’t believe you talk to Trump.’ Okay, I’m not even going to go into why that’s such a stupid opinion, but just where does it end? Alright, I can’t talk to him. Who’s next? People who voted for him? Can I not talk to Joe Rogan? Can’t even talk to him? What about Sylvester Stallone? He’s such a great guy. Stallone, Rocky – really? I can’t talk to him. F*ck off with this bullsh*t.

I don’t know how we got back onto that. I really didn’t want to. It’s on my mind. It is on our minds. It was terrible.
