Boehner Defends Benghazi Committee: It’s Only Gone On So Long Due to WH Stonewalling

Outgoing House Speaker John Boehner today defended the Benghazi Select Committee from charges that it’s just a partisan, anti-Hillary Clinton exercise.

Boehner told Fox News’ Bret Baier tonight that all the committee has been doing is trying to get to the truth but “the administration has stonewalled us” at every turn.

In fact, Boehner argued, “if it weren’t for the stonewalling from the administration… this would have been done a long time ago.”

Democrats have complained about the length of the investigation, as well as the multiple committees convened to investigate Benghazi and Clinton’s emails.
