NBC’s Brian Williams Makes Surprise Cameo As Himself On Family Guy

Last night’s first new Family Guy of 2013 saw the Griffin family accidentally launching themselves into space. This led to an animated Brian Williams reporting on the incident as his top story on the evening news.

Williams quickly threw to local reporter Tom Tucker, who revealed his man-crush for his decidedly more-famous colleague. Though this clip marks Brian Williams’ Family Guy debut, he has appeared on more comedy shows since becoming the anchor of NBC Nightly News than any other “serious” newsman in recent memory.

Some of Williams’ more memorable comedy moments from 2012 include slow jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon, joking about “R-Patz” with Jon Stewart and delivering news from the 1950’s with Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock‘s live show.
