Chuck Todd Reviews ‘Bannon’s Rebellion’: ‘Welcome to a Five-Alarm Dumpster Fire’

Three days into the New Year and the White House is already filled to brim with salacious drama.

In a soon to be released book by Michael Wolff titled Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, Stave Bannon unloads in some pretty shocking ways about the White House and the Trump family.

On Wednesday’s MTP Daily, Chuck Todd shared his thoughts on Donald Trump’s already eventful 2018:

“Good evening, I’m Chuck Todd here in Washington, real non-fiction Washington, I swear. Welcome to MTP Daily and welcome to a five alarm dumpster fire for the White House or shall we call it Bannon’s rebellion. The Russia investigation has been blown open in dramatic fashion. Not by the ‘fake news media,’ not by the ‘deep state Justice Department,’ but by Steve Bannon! In response, the president is now trying to destroy Bannon.”

Todd then jumped into Bannon’s outrageous comments regarding the president and that now-notorious Russian meeting back in 2016 where the former White House chief strategist uses some colorful language. (It’s also been reported that Bannon insulted Ivanka Trump.)

He went on to characterize Trump’s response to Bannon as “jaw-dropping and laughable and oddly, weirdly, predictable.”
