CNN Broadcast Interrupted By Gay Marriage Supporter: ‘About F*cking Time!’

CNN was forced to go to commercial when an exuberant gay marriage supporter walked across the background repeatedly chanting “About fucking time!”

Ashleigh Banfield was reporting on the Supreme Court decision mandating states accept gay marriage in front of New York City’s Stonewall Inn, the site of 1969 riot that was a defining moment for the burgeoning gay rights movement. But others flocked to the same location, including the profane reveler.

“I’m going to apologize for the language,” Banfield said, “but it is a pretty exited air out here.” She valiantly tried to keep the live report going as the man kept chanted, but was forced to abruptly go to commercial.
