CNN’s Borger: Hillary May Address Emails within 48 Hours
CNN’s Gloria Borger relayed on the air this afternoon that Hillary Clinton may address the controversy surrounding her use of personal email within the next 48 hours.
CNN had reported earlier in the day that Clinton may address the emails this week, after making a few public appearances in the past few days and not publicly commenting (save a brief tweet calling on the State Department to release the emails).
But Borger said today she spoke to a close Clinton source who said she’s planning to address it soon, possibly within the next 48 hours.
And, as Borger relayed, they believe when the full explanation comes out, people will understand it to be “completely innocent.”
Yesterday Senator Dianne Feinstein, a Democrat, said Clinton needs to address the issue because silence will just hurt her.
