CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin: Obama ‘On Vacation from Hell’

In advance of President Barack Obama’s comments on the unrest in Ferguson, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin mentioned that the president appears to be on a “vacation from hell.”

“Last night was perhaps the worst night ever,” Toobin said of the violence in Ferguson between police and protesters. “We’ll see if the governor of Missouri, who has been basically missing in action, and the President of the United States — who appears to be on the vacation from hell — what either of them are going to do about it.”

Obama’s vacation thus far has already been taken up in part by the deteriorating situation in Iraq, and his comments Thursday were the second issued during his time off. However, the White House is happy to report that he had a dandy time last night at Martha’s Vineyard.
