Ex-Bush Aide: ‘How Stupid Can We Possibly Be’ to Think Trump Will Pivot?

Former Jeb Bush comms director Tim Miller said on MSNBC today Republicans have got to be stupid to think Donald Trump will ever pivot.

Every time Trump has given a speech on prompter, tons of media analysts come out to wonder if Trump is now sounding more presidential and a sign that he’s pivoting.

“Fool me once,” Miller said today, “shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. fool me a hundred thousand times, how stupid can we possibly be to keep being fooled by this guy?”

He said there will be no pivot and GOP delegates should be able to vote their conscience.

Former RNC chair Michael Steele cried, “There’s no plan!” He told Miller that he can’t trot out the “revisionist history” because he doesn’t like his party’s nominee.
