Ex-CIA Chief Doubles Down: ‘No Doubt’ Putin Sees Trump as ‘Unwitting’ Russian Agent

Former acting head of the CIA Mike Morell today doubled down on his assertion that Donald Trump is being used by Vladimir PUtin as an “unwitting” Russian agent, and he doubled down on ABC’s This Week today.

He said that Putin has “manipulated people much smarter that Donald Trump” and he did it with Trump by complimenting him because “he saw Donald Trump wanted to be complimented.”

“I have no doubt,” Morell said, “that Putin thinks that he’s an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.”

And to Trump, he concluded, it’s all about the compliments and it’s never occurred to him “that he might be being played.”
