Ex-GOP Governor Tells Toy It Can Use Machine Gun for ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ on Sacha Baron Cohen’s Show

Sacha Baron Cohen’s mission to humiliate American politicians on his show Who is America? is still going strong, as the comedian somehow got former GOP Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to approve a toy’s right to own a firearm for ethnic cleansing.

The Showtime comedian was in character as a Danish Internet celebrity named OMGWhizzBoyOMG who makes YouTube videos focused on unboxing different new toys.

“I’m Fizzy Fireworks,” Cohen said last night — speaking for the toy. “I do not know how to tie my shoelaces but please can I have a semi-automatic gun? I think I would be very good at shooting people.”

Brewer says the toy can own “a certain kind of gun,” because “certain machine guns are off-grounds.”

“They ought not to be, though,” she added.

Cohen then told Brewer that the toy is 21 years old, but only has the mental capacity of a three-year-old.

“But the majority of people aren’t mentally ill,” Brewer responded. “And they’re not running around.”

“I’m not mentally ill, I just want to ethnically cleanse all the limited edition Shopkins,” the toy said.

While Brewer’s inital reactionwas to call the ethnic cleansing threat “crazy,” after the toy again asked if they can “still buy machine gun please,” the former governor said, “Yes, you can.”

Brewer is the latest in a long list of notable conservative figures who have been tricked into coming on Cohen’s show and soundly embarrassed. Cohen got former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio to admit that he would have oral sex with President Donald Trump, had former Vice President Dick Cheney sign a waterboarding kit, and convinced numerous GOP lawmakers to promote an initiative that would arm toddlers to protect schools against mass shooters.
