Fox Business Hosts Call Trump/Musk War Most Predictable Feud: ‘Could Have Seen This Little Blowup Coming From Space’
Fox Business’ Dagen McDowell and Charles Gasparino called the growing feud between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk the most easily-predictable feud out there.
On Thursday’s The Big Money Show following Trump and Musk lashing out at each other, McDowell said anyone watching “could have seen this little blowup from space.”
At a Thursday White House meeting, Trump said he was “disappointed” in Musk after the former special government employee criticized his “Big Beautiful Bill,” arguing it will add to the deficit. Musk is also not happy with subsidies for electric vehicles being cut. In an escalating war of words, Trump threatened to cancel Musk’s government contracts, while Musk suggested a third party should be started to represent Americans in the middle.
“Without a satellite, we could have seen it coming,” McDowell said about the feud.
“It was the most easily predicted squirmish in the world,” Fox Business senior correspondent Charles Gasparino, who was co-hosting Big Money Show, added.
Jackie DeAngelis said the feud was so “predictable” that she questioned if it’s even real.
“That’s what I’m talking about,” she said. “That’s why I wonder if it’s real because it’s almost too predictable.”
“The stew is being stirred. Everyone buckle up,” Brian Brenberg added.
McDowell at least partially chalked up the feud to entrepreneurs being a “carnival cruise ship of crazy,” citing her past dating history.
“If you date a really rich person who is an entrepreneur, it is a carnival cruise ship of crazy,” she said.
In his posts about the “Big Beautiful Bill,” which passed the House by just one vote, Musk suggested he’ll take efforts to make sure all lawmakers who support the bill are “fired” when they are up for reelection.
