Fox & Friends Host Can’t Stop Giggling At Robber Who Died in Chimney
This Sunday’s morning edition of Fox & Friends included a good bit of laughter following a local news report from Fresno, California. The story? A suspected robber became stuck in a chimney and died after the homeowner lit a fire.
Anna Kooiman just couldn’t help herself when she started reading her prompter, saying “the man climbed into a chimney of a rural California home, but he got stuck” amid occasional giggles. Footage from local outlet KTLA played on screen while viewers were treated to Kooiman’s continued laughter.
“An unsuspecting resident returned home, lit a fire in his fireplace and later decided to call 911 after hearing screams,” she kept on. “Rescue teams used jackhammers to reach the man but it was too late. They’re still trying to figure out his identity.”
Kooiman wasn’t laughing uncontrollably throughout the entire segment, and was able to deliver the news without any significant interruptions. Yet what rubbed the usual suspects the wrong way wasn’t so much that she laughed, but when she laughed.
For example, the point where Kooiman came closest to losing her composure was when she mentioned “jackhammers.” Um, they’re jackhammers.
