Fox & Friends: Kerry’s Attempt to Broker Ceasefire ‘Embarrassing’
The hosts on Fox & Friends had a harsh verdict for “the first Secretary of State in twenty years to fail at brokering a ceasefire” Tuesday morning: “embarrassing.”
“There is nonstop criticism of Kerry’s attempts to bring in particularly Turkey, who has been seen as defenders of Hamas before,” Elisabeth Hasselbeck said. “Kerry was also accused by Israeli news of abandoning some of Israel’s key demands during negotiations, and one went as far as saying the plan Kerry put out was a ‘strategic terrorist attack.'”
“John Kerry’s error was he put so much emphasis on a quick halt, he solidified the role of Hamas to the exclusion where he undercut the Egyptians and Israelis and the Fatah movement, which is all trying to end Hamas rule in Gaza,” Steve Doocy added. “This was a big mistake.”
