Fox News’ Ed Henry Blasts Media’s ‘Credibility Problem’: ‘Anti-Trump Almost Everything’

 

Fox News’ Ed Henry spoke with colleague Howard Kurtz on MediaBuzz this morning about the mainstream media treatment of President Trump recently.

As Kurtz noted, there was a lot of talk in the press about how Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma would be big tests for the President, and he wondered where all the follow-up is.

“That’s one of the mainstream media’s big credibility problems right now,” Henry said. “It’s just anti-Trump almost everything. And when he does a good job, they can’t say ‘Hey, that was a pretty good job.’ That would make the legitimate criticism of the mistakes he does make sound a lot more credible.”

He and Kurtz briefly discussed the President’s retweet of a GIF showing him hitting Hillary Clinton with a golf ball, with Henry calling it a “goof” that some supporters probably don’t like.

Kurtz brought up some of the blowback Trump has been getting, and Henry said that while he does open himself up to that, “People sometimes need to calm down.”
