Fox News Host Declares Trump Presidency ‘On the Level of Mount Rushmore’
Fox’s Will Cain began Tuesday’s episode of The Will Cain Show by suggesting that President Donald Trump should be immortalized in Mount Rushmore fashion.
Cain opened The Will Cain Show by noting at the time of the broadcast, Trump was at dinner in The Netherlands during a meeting with NATO nations. He then used that fact to pivot to praise for Trump’s efforts to end the war in Ukraine, as well as Trump brokering a ceasefire — which was immediately violated — between Israel and Iran:
And this after an incredible 24 hours wherein, despite doubts, despite two nations hell-bent on war, he once again brought peace to the Middle East. It is not pom-pom waving nor cheerleading. It is not partisan at this point to say, is this presidency not one that puts itself in company of those who’ve had their faces carved into mountains? At this point, is the presidency of Donald Trump on the level of Mount Rushmore?
Cain then introduced an earlier clip from his show Will Cain Country, when he posed the question to guest Michael Malice:
CAIN: Do you think President Trump, based upon these first 100 days in the continuation, has really put himself in position to be a Mount Rushmore-level president? I contend that I think he’s one of the most consequential presidents of at least the last half century.
MALICE: There are so many things he did that weren’t even on the table during the campaign; and what I’m most shocked about is after he’s done it, you would think that the Democrats — who for like 8 years have been an uproar of white supremacy, “Very fine people,” all this nonsense — that they’d be like, “Holy crap, he’s doing it. Let’s flip out.” And they’re kind of shrugging their shoulders!
